As a travel industry-based business, we are committed to excellence. We believe in transparency in business and we are fully committed to being open about our dealings with the public. We are tired of the shallow, sometimes misleading and even hypocritical advertising in the travel industry and we commend the work undertaken by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in its efforts to "clean up" the industry in Australia.

We don't particularly mind where you book your travel, providing that you as the consumer choose to book through a licensed, insured Travel Agent, which is a member of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA).  To not take such a course is in our opinion, behaviour that could invite potential disaster.

Registered and insured Travel Agents can work for you to provide independent expert advice on the sort of travel arrangements that will suit your needs.  We believe it crucial for you to understand this principle.

We have created this site to supply you, the travel consumer with valuable travel destination material and other important travel tips completely FREE OF CHARGE.

We also provide you with this information and service free of obligation.

Our directors own and manage a number of travel agencies with international licenses and of course we'd prefer it if in appreciation of us providing for you travel information free of charge, you'd at least consider booking through at least one of our agencies or perhaps provide us with the opportunity to quote for you. If you choose not to, that is your prerogative and we genuinely wish you all the best with your travel plans.

Some of our staff are volunteers. They freely give their time to create and maintain this website. We thank them for this time and deeply appreciate the efforts put into making this site the product that it is.

Our Managing Director: Jane Evans. 

Jane has over 25 years experience in the travel industry and has enjoyed wide and acclaimed international experience.  Jane is well respected in the Travel community and has won many awards for her work of excellence in the Travel Industry. Jane formed her own Travel Agency some 15 years ago, drawing on her vast experience in both the domestic and international travel arenas.  Jane's first internationally licensed travel agency she called "Know-How Travel". She gave the agency this name because it described what Jane had managed to create after years in the industry: Namely, to pull together the best facets from multiple sources to create the ultimate professional "knowhow" for the job!  Jane has travelled extensively and spent over 12 months living and studying in the USA & Canada before returning to her beloved homeland of Australia.  Jane maintains a close 'hands on' approach to travel in order to ensure that her businesses continues to deliver excellence to her valued clients.  Jane sold this agency in 2006 and now concentrates on not-for-profit travel-related work with her beloved Travel With A Cause Incorporated.

Company Director:  Paul Evans

Paul enjoys extensive experience including training, business marketing and strategic planning.  His career path has been diverse, providing high level policy advice to various government and non-government organisations as well as carrying replete experience in the arena of human services.

Paul is an avid sportsman and his pursuit of excellence has resulted in him obtaining significant sporting achievements including: Winning various state sailing championships, state representation in several state sailing teams, state rugby union representation as well as being honoured with a runner-up title, Australian sailing championships.

Paul loves to sail and he is hard to separate from the wheel of a 35 Metre sloop on a sunny Saturday on the pristine Derwent River!
