From the splendid rock formations at the Sisters Rocks, the Hippolyte Rock seal colonies and what is reputed to be the paramount sea cave system in Australasia, the area caters for all levels of SCUBA diving ability and interest.

White Beach

Set right on a beautiful silver beach in a lovely natural setting, well-equipped en-suite cabins, caravan and tent sites are an excellent base from which to explore the scenic and historic wonders of the Tasman Peninsula. Port Arthur is only 10 minutes drive away from this peaceful spot. Take advantage of the many facilities also available at the friendly caravan park, including covered electric and wood barbecues. Your hosts can provide comprehensive touring information, scuba fills and boat charters to fish the pristine waters surrounding this beautiful place.
 

Osprey Lodge

Spectacular views of glorious Pirates Bay with its endless silver sands are spread below this peaceful retreat. The comfortable modern timber lodge is set in a garden on a secluded beach next to the fascinating rock formations of the Tessellated Pavement. You will love the warm hospitality, welcomed with pre-dinner drinks and savouries in the lounge, surrounded by music, books and a wonderful view. After dinner (at the local restaurants) port and chocolates add to the feeling of being pampered in style. Some delightful bedrooms have balconies overlooking the sea. Start the morning with a great breakfast before exploring the magnificent local coastal and mountain walks. Go scuba diving or deep-sea fishing, play golf, tour Port Arthur and the other interesting historic sites or just relax and gaze at the mesmerising view.

Experience the wonder of the Giant (Macrocystis) Kelp forest at Deep Glen, Shag Rock & Fortescue Bays reach a fantastic height of over 25 metres (90 ft). The wreck of the 85 metres (280+ ft) SS Nord nestling in approximately 43 (150 feet) metres of water with has created for itself an unnatural refuge for an enormous diversity of shoaling fish. The crystal-clear waters provide ample opportunity for the most exacting underwater photographer.
